Listed below are just some of the different types of strawberries grown on the Kawatsura Farm. They can be prepared on a "to go" basis or for special delivery. When you arrive on the farm, you will be given the best type for that season, while you are always welcome to suggest your preference.

Fusanoka
Very Sweet; many state that this strawberry is very similar to the taste of peaches
- High sugar rate
- Produced in Chiba (in 2000)
- Genetic Hybrid of "Kiharu" & "Tochiotome"
Akihime
Watery freshness; not sour, having a soft body
- Average sugar rate
- Produced in Shizuoka
- Genetic Hybrid of "Kunohwase" & "Nyohoh"
Sachinoka
Very sweet with moderate sourness. Hard body; dark red with a very high vitamin C concentration
- High sugar rate
- Produced in Japan
- Genetic Hybrid of "Toyonoka (parent seed)" & Aiberry (parent pollen)"
Tochiotome
Very sweet with moderate sourness. Soft body
- High sugar rate
- Produced in Tochigi
- Genetic Hybrid of "Kume 49 (Toyonoka and Nyohoh)" & "Tochinomine"
